Once a client fills out a health history form, the practitioner analyzes the problem areas of the client’s symptoms and complaints. There are different types of Massage Therapy techniques and more than one is often performed to regain the proper integrity of the body to gain the full healing intention.
Athletic Bodywork - a combination of structural analysis, deep tissue therapy, and neuromuscular therapy to aid athletes in recovery and performance.
Deep Tissue Massage - slow, concentrated tissue manipulation to break up tight stuck muscles and trigger points causing discomfort in the body.
Myofascial release- a technique that performs a “holding” of the tissue and different manners to allow the fascia connective tissue to release and move in the direction the body needs. The end result is reduced or elimination of pain and muscle restrictions. Great application to enhance athletic performance.
Pressure point therapy / reflexology - pressing on a series of points on the body or feet that allows a release in the tension in the muscular tissue or the meridian path that effects other problem areas of the body.
